Hi
I just installed Solaris Nevada Build 38 on Toshiba portege R200-S234. The
install went
trouble free. After some poking around, I was finally able find the driver for
the GigE interface.
The regular Marvell driver did not work, Had to get Marvel Yukon driver and
then the interface
appeared as yukonx0 on plumbing.
Now I am running into other problems:
1. There is no power management available so it never sleeps. Even when I close
the screen.
Is there are tool like powernow for Pentium M. I have heard of Speedstep,
but I believe its
not working yet on Pentium M.
2. The other more serious problem is that the laptop hangs, if I leave it idle
for more that 10 mins.
If I leave to get coffee or something, no matter whats running, I have to
power cycle it.
Anybody else have this problem. If its not idle and I typing/browing, its
stay fine, but the minute
you leave it idle for more that 10 mins, it hangs
Any help will be appreciated.
