Hi,

I trust it has already taken to your attention that by today the European
Commission
has finalized a judgment concerning the criminal behaviour against Intel Inc.
USA.

1 year ago I purchased a notbook T61 of the vendor Lenovo in Germany.

This particular product is fully equipped with Intel chip sets.

In the past Intel Inc. USA has taken legal actions against the openSolaris
community and their developers because they tried to develop a driver for the
Intel Wifi 4665 ABG chip what should be supported by the openSolaris / Sun
Solaris Operating System.

It took about almost 2 years to resolve this trail and meanwhile Intel could
introduce successfully this particular chip set to the market.

My Lenovo Notebook declines PCI-Express Cards e. g. from the Vendor Atheros due
to an implemented bios lock what declines other wifi cards from other vendors,
e. g. Atheros, and there's no known proceedure how to override the lock.

The above mentioned circumstances reveal just a small example of how Intel has
even harmed the consumers at the end of the lane of distribution.

Intel Inc. USA has even conducted a misbehaviour for years due to paying
illegal money to big computer retailers and suppliers throughout European
markets and as well to those in their own country.

What Intel Inc. USA didn't recognice for years and what they miss is, that
without making any exception, chipsets from AMD were better supported and
always had a better performance on OpenSorce-based Operating Systems e. g. Sun
Solaris / openSolaris.

Several independent testimonials have revealed, that Sun Solaris / openSolaris
deploys more power and performance running with an AMD Athlon/Opteron CPU than
with a CPU from the vendor Intel.

Having all this in mind and coupled with the fact, that currently Oracle buys
Sun caused by the financial loss of Sun over the last years, who wonders, that
suddenly Sun changes at the end their entire x86 products and offers more
servers with Intel CPUs, and those, equipped with AMD technology are rarely to
find on Sun's web site.

I fully agree to the penalty of the European Commission and it was just a
matter of time the ECC will stop the arrogant and "we-rule-the-market" manner
of American Companies.

But it's is not a "we-rule-the-market" opinion. It is more than that.

A "we-rule-the-market" implies the minor but important word 'fairness' coupled
with respect to others, what is definitely completely missed here.

A "we-manipulate-the-market" would be a more fitting term to describe what has
happened over the last 10 years.

The profit Intel Inc. USA was able to make only due to breaching the law of
fair competition over almost 10 years is in zero relation to the penalty the
ECC has Intel sentenced to pay today.

Intel Inc. USA has no reason to complain, and finally, all further statements
given by this particular company are just a try for an unacceptable excuse, a
reaction like a small child shows having gotten forbidden it's favourite toy.

Thank you justice.

Best Regards.
Dave.
