Well, it seems like it might be something to do with my Belkin router at home.
I'm able to connect to the WPA network at work. It uses a linksys. I did
previously have problems connecting to my home router under Ubuntu, but it has
worked since 7.10. Maybe the Belkin does something strange?
Is there any debug I can run to see why it fails at home? The password is
definitely correct. I also tried using dladm, but with no more luck:
jeffw at suburbia:~$ pfexec dladm create-secobj -c wpa key
provide value for 'key': ********
confirm value for 'key': ********
jeffw at suburbia:~$ pfexec dladm connect-wifi -e leiligheten -k key
dladm: cannot connect: operation timed out
And I get the same entires in /var/svc/log/network-wpa:iwi0.log:
[ Sep 13 03:56:57 Executing start method ("/usr/lib/inet/wpad -i iwi0 -k key").
]
[ Sep 13 03:56:57 Method "start" exited with status 0. ]
[ Sep 13 03:57:07 Stopping because service disabled. ]
[ Sep 13 03:57:07 Executing stop method (:kill). ]
