It sure would be great if "Sun Employees" with "popular computers" (not homebrewed or numerous add-ons) could group together into dozen person teams and form a "Review / Test / Approval Group" that would ensure that SXCE / OpenSolaris / Solaris was 90% compatible with a few dozen major Desktop / Laptop / Blade / Big-Hardware computers. There are many (nearly all?) computers that have a Sticker (Certified for WinXP / Vista). While I don't require that you print a Sticker, or approach Manufactures and get them to apply said Sticker to their computers, you should at least be able to say that "Solaris will run on XYZ Brand Computer with satisfactory results".
