Thanks for the reply, I disabled the power daemon for now .

-bash-3.2# svcs -a |grep power
online          5:00:35 svc:/system/power:default
-bash-3.2# svcadm disable system/power
-bash-3.2# svcs -a |grep power
disabled        5:24:48 svc:/system/power:default
-bash-3.2#
