[laptop-discuss] ral wifi driver problem

Running a MSI laptop with the following wifi hardware:

pci bus 0x0005 cardnum 0x09 function 0x00: vendor 0x1814 device 0x0302
 RaLink RT2561/RT61 rev B 802.11

Driver installs but fails to attach:

devfsadm: driver failed to attach: ral
Warning: Driver (ral) successfully added to system but failed to attach

Any ideas as to how I can troubleshoot this further?

I am using driver:
