Right, but Solaris is LP64 model and only math libraries and server  
software really needs to be 64-bit.  Creating a wrapper to load 32- 
bit drivers into 64-bit address space is non-trivial.  I know someone  
who was able to load a 32-bit NVIDIA module on a 64-bit Linux 2.6  
kernel with mixed mode binaries plus some gdb hacks.  As to say with  
due time it'll be possible, nothing's impossible, just right now it is.
