I got my IBM Intel 2200 BG miniPCI from amazon.com today, replace original IBM
802.11b/g card with this new card. download and install iwi driver from
OpenSolaris.
Solaris 10 8/07 + iwi driver works well now on my X40 2386 8EU.
(before that - I try ndisrapper with Windows Atheros Driver, no luck, got
error on step --
./ndiscvt -i ndis.inf -s ndis.sys -o ndis.h
I think ndiswrapper is only good for Broadcom's chipset. )
Radio LED for Intel 2200BG wireless card also flashes there.
#wificonfig -i iwi0
parameter property
bssid read only
essid read/write
bsstype read/write
rates read/write
authmode read/write
encryption read/write
wepkeyindex read/write
signal read only
radio read/write
radio control is available now from iwi driver.
If I have time, I will put IBM 802.11 b/g card back, and test it with Solairs
Express 9/07
