Hmmm.... Can't seem to remember. I do however remember that there were
several messages related to ioctl there.

Since I needed the laptop for other work, I downloaded and installed
Ubuntu instead. I will however, over the weekend, install b62 and try
once again. Hopefully, that way I can give you exact error messages as
they appear in /var/adm/messages.
