I'm having trouble with getting my Intel 3945ABG wireless connection (on a Compaq 6720s laptop) to connect to my WLAN. I wondered whether it was related to this bug: http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6419924 As detailed in this thread: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=123355?? The system correctly sees the WLAN: $ wificonfig -i wpi0 scan essid bssid type encryption signallevel typeface 00:xxxxx access point none 9 But this is as far as it gets: $ wificonfig -i wpi0 autoconf wificonfig: autoconf: essid 'typeface' is selected wificonfig: failed to connect to essid 'typeface' In the /var/adm/messages log: WARNING: wpi_init(): timeout waiting for firmware init I'm running snv_70b.
