When I booted solaris after inserting a RT2500 card into a cardbus slot, the system was paniced. I can duplicate that whenever I insert the card before booting.
The stack trace was: hayao:mrym% mdb -k u*1 v*1 Loading modules: [ unix krtld genunix specfs uppc scsi_vhci ufs ip sctp arp usba uhci s1394 nca lofs ] > $c vpanic(fea7b3e0, fea8d144, fea8d128, 1d5) assfail+0x5c(fea8d144, fea8d128, 1d5) freemsg+0xbc(c98a2680) gld_start+0x40e(c9391098, c98a2680, 1, 0) gld_unitdata+0x15e(c9391098, c8afe200) gld_cmds+0x1ac(c9391098, c8afe200) gld_wsrv+0x1a0(c9391098) runservice+0x45(c9391098) queue_service+0x42() stream_service+0xb3() taskq_d_thread+0xa6(c8337250, 0) thread_start+8() I doubt that ral-0.1 driver free'ed the mblk_t messaage when it returned a error. I would like to check that in ral source code. -masa This message posted from opensolaris.org
