Then you don't even need to update the driver; all you would
need to do is build a replacement ACPI table.

That's fairly easy once you have the appropriate numbers for
your CPU.

Since you have a 4006, I'm assuming you had 2.2 GHz and  you know
have 2.4; if that is the case we can probably easily assemble
a table from the 4006 table plus an additional entry
for the 2.4 speed bracket.

What does "powernowadm getmsr" report?
