Hmm... I just tested it on a SunBlade 100 running Solaris 10, and it didn't work. Apparently the device_type property can be _either_ a prom property or a kernel property, so you have to check both. I'm not used to this: in kernel space property lookups implicitly include a check for prom properties, unless you specifically ask it _not_ to check the prom. Anyway, I've fixed it now, so it works on all of these machines: SunBlade 100 (Solaris 10), Ultra 20 (Solaris 10), Tadpole Bullfrog (US3i based machine, snv_b44).
