The latest drivers you sent me seem to do okay. I've not plugged the atheros cardbus card in yet -- mostly because I wanted to get a driver working. (I figured add_drv would be safer to do without actual hardware so that I could remove the /reconfigure node -- a trick I've learned to reduce the likelihood of having to boot of recovery media). Anyway, the add_drv didn't work, I think there is something bad in the HAL. I see comments about new gcc flags to get rid of the Global Offset Table in the kernel. I'd like more info about that.
