Hi,
I have been trying to set up the wpa_supplicant and wificonfig programs
on a laptop running Solaris 10 6/06. I know this is for OpenSolaris so
thiat may be my problem; I do not know.
Anyway, the wpa_supplicant runs fine. The wificonfig issues an error:
# wificonfig -i iwi0 scan
essid bssid type encryption
signallevel
DLINK_WAP 00:0f:3d:ac:97:a8 access point wep 14
peanutsfans 00:16:b6:60:8b:fd access point wep 15
# wificonfig createprofile peanutsfans essid=peanutsfans proto=WPA \
> key_mgmt=WPA key_mgmt=WPA-PSK pairwise=TKIP psk=password
# wificonfig -i iwi0 connect peanutsfans
wificonfig: failed to set 'psk' for Invalid argument
wificonfig: failed to set 'proto' for Invalid argument
wificonfig: failed to connect to profile 'peanutsfans'
The system is a Lenovo Thinkpad Z60m with an Intel Pro/2200abg wireless
adapter. If you need anything else, please just ask.
Any ideas on how I might make this work?
