I'm glad this is already a closed bug. Address 0x18 looked suspicious anyway. Now I guess I have to wait for some patch to be made available for S10x86 at sunsolve, right?
About the other panic I was having it was with Solaris Express (last was snv_28, but occurred before too). It was very similar to the description of J?rgen Keil in the first message of this thread. The difference was that I don't have a cardbus firewire adapter, but a built-in one, and my panic/freeze was occurring when I disconnected the firewire cable from the HD. Sometimes, instead of a panic, the kernel would just freeze and the machine simply stopped responding, even ping through the LAN. Unfortunately I don't have the panic stacks as I have reverted to S10U1 and have no Solaris Express anymore. If it is of any help, I use an ADS DLX-185 external HD case with a Maxtor 250gb stock hd. It has both 1394a and USB interfaces. This message posted from opensolaris.org
