I've tested 05/07 and 09/07 of SXCE, 64a and 70b respectively on Thinkpad T30 and Ultra-20 M2 with full success, including muting. (Intel and Realtek HD)
The good news is OSS was released under CDDL, so with due time full support for other OSS supported cards will be part of OpenSolaris. Give it 6 months, my guess. James
