malo-0.1 does't support WPA, one of the reasons is that it was ported
from OpenBSD, but OpenBSD doesn't support WPA. Good news is that we will
have some wpad/net802.11 enhancement in the near future, so that
WPA/WPA2 feature can be supported by malo driver too, but I can't give
exact time frame by now.

Root cause of above error message should be the same with the one found
with ipw/iwi driver, please refer to another thread:

AFAIK, this feature has been integrated since build64.

I bet malo-0.2 with WPA support is the answer.

You need to add driver name "malo" in "/etc/inetmenu/WIRELESS***"
configure file, in which "ath","bcmndis"... have been added.
