Hi Das, I run my MBP 17 with MacOSX and OpenSolaris on bare metal, with Windows in Vbox on both. Putting together a blog for it, but in the mean time you should be able to use the following url to start with.
http://weblogs.java.net/blog/bleonard/archive/2008/05/_opensolaris_20.html There are some updates for the new MBP's though. 1) The OpenSolaris partition needs to be labeled as "linux-swap" not just fat32. Otherwise OpenSolaris will not use it to install on. 2) The network driver alias just needs to be updated for the pci id to work. Do a pciscan to get the id information. 3) AudioHD is still problematic, you can get full audio via a USB audio adapter, but the main speakers only produce noise. Supposedly there is an update to the driver coming to address this. That should be the major items. As for triple booting, I've setup this config in the past but with Ubuntu, Windows, OpenSolaris. Not sure if possible with MacOSX in the mix. The order of OS install is always critical with triple+ boot systems. The most likely way to success is to partition the drive using something like gparted or rescueCD. The tricky part is that Windows always wants to be installed first. I would install MacOSX and setup reFit for your boot manager, then install Windows, then install OpenSolaris. I can tell you that dual-boot works like a champ, even triple boot with linux. But just not sure on the Windows piece.
