Even without SMCFanController installed, I've seen higher temperatures than that just using the system in OS X and monitoring them using a Dashboard Widget. So, I don't think 65 Celsius is considered overheating apparently, although that seems rather bizarre. I'm not sure what to make of it personally. > I could find a tool developped by the Ubuntu community to handle the SMC on a > MacBook, with SMC bytes/decodes. But I'm not a developer.
