Ok, I feel like a newbie again.

How in the world do I create an xorg.conf file.

xorgconfig and xorgcfg are gone. The man pages say to use /usr/X11/bin/Xorg
-configure. Ok, fine. Reboot and boot to single user mode and run
Xorg-configure and the error messages scroll by so fast I can't see them. And
it also didn't create an xorg.conf anywhere. The man pages also say to just
take the *.log file and copy it over and edit. You've got to be kidding me.
The sections aren't even present in the file.

So I grabbed one from Linux and modified it and it acted like build 130. :-)

Maybe I'll stop doing this and take up Sudoku instead.

At least I learnt how to boot to single user mode from GRUB. :-) small bonus.

thanks,
alan
