It's not root cause, before I look into this issue, please give more 
details about:
-  OS version.
- 32bit or 64bit?
- output of #echo "::prtusb"|mdb -k
- the /etc/driver_aliases file.
You'd better to try opensolairs build123+, as RTL8187L/B USB WiFi was 
integrated since then.
