[laptop-discuss] How do you disabled the needless & loud system beep that occurs frequently?

It occurs when the freakin login screen loads even and it's loud enough to make 
me wet myself, sends jitters through my body... (There's absolutely no need for 
such a thing, whoever thought of it needs their head examined.)
