I have no problem with that, but I expect various people to just want to do their own thing. Some will want to get the data from the aggregator, others will also prefer to go to the source.
Agreed. It doesn't matter where people get the data. If the stream flows one way, they can get it at any point in the stream that is convenient to them.
The best an aggregator can do is publish their own aggregated results in a well-defined format and publicize them.
