I noticed that LzView defaults its parent to the canvas, but LzNode
doesn't.
I don't think we test the case of a node having a null parent, and
canvas seems like a reasonable default for all nodes. However, I
wanted to ask whether there was a reason for this?
Assuming it's just an oversight and LzNode's parent should default to
canvas as well, I've filed LPP-1271, and will make the change soon.
