To echo what Mark says here, we have decided to go with Subversion. There are clearly members of the community for which this is a significant issue (and I'm not just speaking about Sean here :-). But beyond that, it's the right thing to do: our bias needs to be towards adoption of open source precisely because we would like others to have the same bias when they evaluate our work.

Thanks everyone for your input and information. We're working on a transition plan and will have more information soon.
