By downloading eclipse3.1.1 "all in one" with wtp and installing Laszlo 3.1.1 server, IED4Laszlo started working fine. Now to learn how to use it!

In Eclipse, Windows -> Preferences... -> Laszlo, the LPS option panel
enables the selection of LPS webroot (with the "Browse" button).
Later, when defining the Eclipse workspace for your Laszlo projects,
it's important that the workspace folder is not the same as the
webroot folder, else the Run menu options in IDE4Laszlo don't work.
