I'm looking at the Windows installer for OpenLaszlo. It uses version 1.98 (from 2002) of Nullsoft Scriptable Install System. Our mac and windows installers seem pretty decent, but I really don't want to get into trying to maintain a separate windows installer which we designed in 2002 and whose main author has left the project.
Yossie Silverman has suggested InstallAnywhere, http:// www.macrovision.com/products/flexnet_installshield/installanywhere/ index.shtml which looks like it costs big dollars, but also like it will do what we need it to do. and a google search for "java application installers" yields tons of hits: http://elfurl.com/u8twm Are any of you contributors skilled with installers for java applications, multiplatform or just windows? If so, please advise. (Don't worry, I'm just asking for advice, here; finding someone to do the work comes later.) Thanks! -benjamin PS: Subversion builds are cooking along. I've spent the last few days in front of a windows machine, trying not to kill myself over /, \, and \\. _______________________________________________ Laszlo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.openlaszlo.org/mailman/listinfo/laszlo-dev
