The explanatory text covering 'Example 11.1. Datasets' in 'http:// 127.0.0.1:8080/trunk/docs/guide/data-tutorial.html' says:

The square brackets provide a (one-based) space to enter which sibling node we want. [1] is implied, so the above example could be rewritten without any "[1]"s.

That isn't true. If we remove a single [1] from the example, then the example breaks:

<text datapath="myData:/myXML[1]/person/firstName[1]/text()"/>

Is this a bug in the documentation or the XML parser? Is this a bug?
