Actually, the canvas attribute

<canvas debug="true"/>

controls if debugging is compiled in, and the <debug> tag just specifies the
location of
the debug window. If you omit the <debug> tag, you still get a debugger, in
some default
location.

Maybe we should have a little debugger brainstorming session some time and
see if there's some rationalization to be done. There's a bunch of quirky
things
being done right now. We still need some way to specify debugger options
though.
