That's our min requirement now, so I see no reason not to use 1.5 features. It's just that our code was all written in 1.4. There is some glorp in WEB-INF/lps/server/build.xml to actually sort out the files that 'require' 1.4 (i.e., require the --source 1.4 arg to javac to silence deprecation warnings). I think the only remaining code that requires that is the jjtree or javacc generated code.
