That depends on what you want to do, which OS/server you want to use.
Liferay has a large number of portlets, a partnership with Sun, runs
well on Glassfish. If you use RedHat Linux, JBoss is of course a good
option.
I haven't worked with JBoss Portal, but from what I've heard Liferay
offers a lot more functionality out of the box. Try to ask people with
more JBoss experience about it, I can't really give you a good answer
here.

Thanks for the infomation.
How about JBOSS portal instead of Liferay. Is Liferay better.
Thanks,

Jason,
there has been work to integrate OpenLaszlo into Liferay. I thought
of coming up with an up-to-date version of an OpenLaszlo app running
inside Liferay, but left the company I worked for at that time - and
never followed up. Nevertheless I discussed the idea with Brian
Chan, the founder of Liferay in October 2008 - and he's really
interested in combining OpenLaszlo with Liferay.
There's an old post in the mailing list on a similar example:

Hi,
I'm deciding to use Openlaszlo and I'm a bit confused how to use
Openlaszlo on a Portal Server using portlets.
Has anyone done this, are there any documentation regarding this
type of implemenation.
Thanks,
JH
