Details: Based on Raju's changes. Move border and background drawing to
separate methods. Add drawMask() method to handle updating the mask, like
drawBackground(). Call drawMask() instead of scaling the sprite. Call
drawMask() on init to ensure the mask takes.
Tests: See LPP-8508 for an updated testcase, also from Raju
