Helloo.. Coming from a purely Flash/css/html/photoshop background, moving to creating layouts by code alone was quite different... I layout everything in photoshop, sometimes having the lzreference pages open so I can just screengrab and drop the components into the mockup.. Once Im semi-happy with how I want it to look, I just start cranking out the code, x's and y's, sizing, etc are pretty simple to nail by just measuring in PS.. If there were a graphical editor, honestly, I'd probably not use it that much - I found it exciting, different and insipiring enough just to be able to create a Flash combo box, filled with my data in about 10 lines of code..I do all my projects in the my-apps folder, so just flick between the text editor (old school Textpad is my fave), and a browser, refreshing it..Works real quick, Im not really aware of the 'editor'/compiler/browser transition - like with most programmatic disciplines, once you get in the zone, you can just 'create'.. Cant wait, though, until I can utilize Flash movies within Laszlo with all the features of AS2/3... :)
