And it gave me a good excuse to put up a wiki page documenting the LPS server protocol:

As soon as we get 4.0 beta out the door we can write up more of the details.

Nice and thx! Meanwhile, I managed to process XML data requests - at least partly.

The non-SOAP amazon sample already retrieves data from Amazon and shows products,
prices and such. Cart, wish list etc. work too.

A new plps.zip archive is available.

But all media data requests do fail -> see next section.

It looks like you have enough to go on to proxy XML data requests. It would be great to add support for media requests - let me know if you need more documentation or have specific questions.

Yes, enough to work ;-)

My biggest problem is transfering data back as SWF7. I simple don't know, what to put
inside such a file. Could PHP's MING (never used this stuff) be useful?

And of course, please update and comment on the wiki as you see fit.

I'll do.

Also, I can link to your work from the appropriate wiki page(s) if you'd like.

I'll set up something shortly.

Thanks for the contribution!

Thanks for your help!
