I've been jinxed. Either IDE4Laszlo or Eclipse on my Linux box has become
completely useless.

Thanks Adnew and Gary for passing on the tip to turn off autobuild. It was
really helpful. If I compare it with Flex IDE , there can be lot done for
improving it - but it has its own huge cost, but its definitely lot better
then bindows. But a visual IDE has lot more features then drag and drop and
properties for elements.

You need an updated version of the plugin to get it to work correctly with
Eclipse 3.2 - functionaly its the same as the one you tried but it doesn't
crash for us

2: - Does cause a problem on my 2 GHz machine - however the heaviness is
usually seen when you forget to turn off autobuilding while using it.

3: - It provides drag and drop, visual layout tweaking, and it provides
propertie pages for each element to allow you to view what properties are
available

I tried the 0.2.0 version but I don't think so we have any competitive
advantage using that plugin with eclipse 3.1+. Our findings are

1. The plugin crashes frequently - causing eclipse to close

2. The plugin is heavy ( it was causing problem on our machines 3.2 GHz
with 1 GM ram atleast )

3. The plugin provided no additional benefit apart from a listing of user
interface control.

We used XMLBuddy and I believe it was a much better option.

Hi All,

Doe anyone know what the development status is for the Laszlo plugin for
eclipse? Is it still an active project....?
