I am just starting out with Open Laszlo and am finding the
documentation rather difficult to follow.
I am trying to build a general database querying application - a
bit like SQL Server Enterprize Manager. I have a login window
and when the user clicks the "Open" button the application must
open another window with a tree of Tables, Views and possibly
Procedures. This tree must be built dynamically based on the
database being accessed. How do I get the "Open" button on my
first screen to create a window that is dynamically filled in
that way.
I know how to do the JDBC part to get the database objects, but
it is the linking it to the event of the click on the "Open"
button, and the dynamic build that I am struggling with.
