Seems to happen independently of the version of latex2html.
At least, it is not a beta8 problem.

Everything works fine for the latex2html/docs/manual, though.
The misbehavour also happens, if I separate the
"Embedded Image Example" from the rest of the manual suite.
Unfortunately, I did not  find, where the differences are.
