Dear Pat and Nasser,
Thank you for your posts regarding
Unwanted, black, line segments under some images
corresponding to LaTeX commands probably like \dot{\vec{r}}
I found that your solution to set "$MATH_SCALE_FACTOR = 1.8"
worked for me as well. Instead of directly changing the value in
l2hconf.pm, I set the variable in my local configuration file,
.latex2html-init, and got the same improved result.
