Hmm, very useful!

It has a minor problem: you have to put "#format IRC" on the first line,
and then everything after it that doesn't look like an IRC line is just
ignored by the wiki transform.  So for example, when Brad Crittendon did
this to the earlier page (here's the diff):

  https://dev.launchpad.net/GettingStartedIRCSession?action=diff&rev2=5&rev1=4

...it causes the page's introductory text (which is formatted like a
wiki, not like an IRC transcript) to be hidden.  That's why you can't
see the intro here:

  https://dev.launchpad.net/GettingStartedIRCSession?action=recall&rev=5

(I've since updated that page to put the intro inline in the transcript.)

I've created https://dev.launchpad.net/HackingSoyuzIRCSession the same
way.  Again, it might be better to point to the Ubuntu pages, but the
readability difference is pretty great and I'm not familiar enough with
the Ubuntu wiki editing conventions.  But I'll ask Jorge; maybe we can
just fix the masters.
