Hello everyone, Danilo Šegan is our release manager for this cycle. Big thanks to him for volunteering!
After discussion with Tom today, we agreed on a couple of changes to the policy regarding release-critical changes containing DB patches. The basic rule is: don't. But sometime, we have to. So here are the details: * On Mon/Tue: DB patches that don't affect the estimated roll-out time can be considered. * On the release day: no DB patches unless data safety is at risk. * For the "re-roll": again no DB patches, unless data safety is at risk. Also, we decided that the policy should be to abort the roll-out and reschedule if we encounter any problems that would put the schedule off by more than 30 minutes.
