The first thing you'll have to do is to create a translation team following this easy steps: https://help.launchpad.net/Translations/LaunchpadTranslators#StartingTeam Once you've created the team and it has been appointed for translation into British English, you'll have access to all of those translations managed by the Launchpad Translators group, such as Synaptic.
