Hello Michael, before you can start translate Chromium, it is necessary to create a team that can handle the Scots Gaelic language, since right now there is none for Launchpad.
There is already a team for Ubuntu (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-gd), if you want to get in touch with them and talk to them in order to set up a new team for Launchpad (the Ubuntu Translators team and the Launchpad Translators are two different teams).
