just wondering, since this occurrence of many odd unsubscription requests rings a bell: Did you subscribe to this list yourself, e. g. by clicking on something on the web etc. or sending a "subscribe" message on some occasion? Or did messages just suddenly start arriving in your inbox, out of the blue? Or is your problem that you have tried unsubscribing as described, and it didn't work? (and BTW, Ubuntu in this case is a Linux distro <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(Linux_distribution)>, Linux being an open source and free operating system.
