Kind of off-topic, but quite a few people do use HTML e-mail format now-a-days, but for this list in GMail I did think I set it as plain-text only. Weird how it (or I?) put that tag in there for splitting lines. Anyway, I do usually use Thunderbird and do have it setup to use either "Plaintext" or "Plaintext and HTML" depending on the recipient(s).
