There's a fine balance between "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", and my 
own personal favortite, upgrade when you can, not when you have to.  
Violating either rule will cost you time eventually.

That said, I like to wait at least one minor revision after a major 
revision to upgrade, unless there's a good reason to jump ahead.
