Jason, John, Greg This "clipboard preservation of otherwise closed VIs" issue has bitten me several times in the past. Although I'm currently "just" a lurker, it has annoyed me enough that I cannot resist chipping in on this one. If NI finally got rid of this pestilence, I wouldn't complain. The only saving grace is that it shows up on the Hierarchy diagram, but to notice it, you have to have the HD open when you otherwise might not.
