MSVCRT.dll

In trying to create the averaging example referencing an external dll
in a VI, I receive an error that "This application has failed to start
b/c MSVCRT.dll was not found" after i close the "configure" dialog
after specifying the path to myshared.dll. I've searched my computer
and cannot find MSVCRTD anywhere. Can someone tell me what this does
and where i might find it?
