Applications that require using multiple windows can be written in a
variety of ways. It appears that you are on the right track.
I personally like to use a method that is similar to your "method 1"
However, "method 2" can also be very useful; it really depends on
personal preference and the behavior you want to see from LabVIEW. I
would also recommend using the settings ("Open when called" and "Close
after run") that GerdW posted.
