Cannot recommend solutions as such but two alternatives might be: (1) ENVI from www.rsinc.com it has an ActiveX interface and might be able to do somewhat of what you want. (2) the OpenGL toolkit from ICON Technologies www.icon-tech.com.au cheers, Alex.
